What is the D’Addario/Harmony Free Lesson Program?

James and Janet D'Addario Foundation, the D'Addario Foundation and the Harmony Program join forces to pilot Long Island Program

Jim and Janet D’Addario, Suzanne D’Addario Brouder and Anne Fitzgibbon team up to give 27 kids from a local Long Island school the opportunity to learn to play an instrument for free 3 days a week for 30 weeks.  Kids jump on a bus after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and are dropped off at the D’Addario  headquarters where they join in their classrooms for 2 hours of instruction each day.  The program will continue in the Fall and children will also have an opportunity to participate in a free summer program as well.
