The D'Addario Foundation & Hungry for Music receive a donation of 3,500+ band & orchestra instrument donations as a result of the closure of two Connecticut instrument rental companies.

Back in 2016 the D’Addario Foundation team met a young student living in the Bronx named Randy Leon. He was a cellist at a D’Addario Foundation supported program in his neighborhood. Now, he co-manages the New York Youth Symphony where he works with inner city students.

We're honored to award Thomas Kurtz, Professor of Music at San Antonio College and Doctoral Candidate at the University of Texas Austin, the first Kevin Garren Memorial Scholarship.
